Mountain House Vintage is a tiny vintage rug shop owned by me, Louise (Lou) Searle. I live on a mountain in Virginia and spend most of my time mothering my three children and the rest of it slinging rugs! I opened the shop out of my home in 2020 after years of collecting vintage rugs. I love the rich colors and texture, history, durability, and character that vintage rugs bring to any space.

Free trials are available for customers in their home within 15 minutes of Bluemont, and a small selection of my inventory is available at King Street Collective in downtown Leesburg, Virginia. I also participate in a few local markets including the Lucketts Store Market each spring and fall.
